Dress Code
According to CMS School Policy, extreme styles in clothing and grooming may be detrimental to the maintenance of discipline and morale in school. The principal and his.her staff are responsible for determining and enforcing regulations governing proper dress and grooming of students. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
Westerly Hills Academy Uniform Policy
Westerly Hills Academy is a uniform school. All our students are expected to dress in the appropriate school attire.
Shirts: Light blue, white, navy or black, collared shirts or school spirit shirts.
o Shirts should provide coverage of mid-drift & cleavage areas.
Pants: Khaki, navy or black pants, shorts, skirts or jumpers
o Pants are secure at waistline, no sagging
o Belts are be used with loose pants
o Pants will fit properly (not to exceed one (1) size beyond the correct size)
o Shorts, skirts and jumpers need to be fingertip length
Shoes: Shoes that are suitable for P.E.
o Tennis shoes are preferred
Accessories: May be worn to compliment the uniform.
The following is unacceptable
Because of safety issues bedroom slippers, shower shoes, flip-flops, slides or stilettos, do not wear.
No holes in jeans, pants, tights, skirts or shirts (no exceptions).
Jeans (any color, including black), except on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month.
Head gear or any type (except for religious purposes)
